How to make money with resale rights

Resale rights have been around for a long time...the best way to describe them in terms of information products is this: you purchase the rights to be able to sell copies of an information product such as a video, an audio, or a text file, like a PDF, and you can sell the product, over and over again and keep all of the profits.
Resale rights products are probably the quickest, easiest, fastest way to have a product that you can sell, and many of them come with a "sales system"--meaning it's not just the product itself--it has a pre-written sales letter and graphics...like a picture of a book or a DVD cover.
Now another branch of a resale rights product is a product that also includes master resale rights. So what are master resale rights? Well, when you buy master resale rights, you're buying the ability to sell not just the product; you're buying the ability to sell resale rights to the product.
In other words, you're not just buying the ability to sell the product to a customer...you're buying the rights to sell resale rights to the product. So your customer can either be someone who is buying your product just to use it themselves, OR, they are buying the rights to go ahead and do what you are doing...sell it to an end consumer, and then THEY keep 100% of the profits. It goes from a business-to-consumer situation to a business-to-business situation.
So resale rights is something that you're doing in order to go into business for yourself. Master resale rights is more of a business opportunity or a business venture. We all know people will pay way more money for something that will make them money than they'll pay for something in general, so you can charge more for your product if you are including resale rights.
Now, private label rights products are a little different. Private label rights products are created with the intention of you putting your name on them...of you being the author, the creator of such a product. You can change the name of the product, do whatever the heck you want to with it, free and clear-no restrictions.
You will see these in the real world as well-it is done very frequently in the food industry. For instance, you can go to your favorite restaurant and they will serve root beer with their name on it, but it's not really home-brewed by the restaurant, they just buy it from someone else and slap their label on it.
With the internet and information products, it's a whole other level because the profit margin is insane--because there's no cost to reproduce. Think about it, if you're selling the product digitally, there's no cost to reproduce a PDF once you have it, so the profit margin is just off the hook. This is one of the reasons why knowing how to make money online with resale rights is a bright idea.
